Christmas time again

Its cold and wintery outside and perfect for cosying down with your needles. I'm sure you have requests for lots of christmas knitting, and many presents planned yourself. If you have some spare time and wool then why not knit for a child in some one the poorest countries on the world? You can share your knitting with the world by getting invloved with Operation Christmas Child.  You can use the patterns provided on the website to make some quick knits including hand puppets and hats.  Charity knitting  is rewarding at any time of year so spread the smiles world wide.  It's worth noting that knitted stuffed toys are not accepted without ce marks so I would take a look at the Christmas Child patterns for inspiration.
Happy knitting and happy christmas!
